Due to the increasing needs for the processing of our grey and nodular cast iron castings, we have decided to supplement the machinery in the Machining Department. We selected a powerful and technologically enhanced OKUMA MB5000H horizontal machining centre because of its high-capacity magazine, cooling through the spindle, larger workplace, higher spindle speed, etc. We selected the machine to satisfy current demands of our existing products, and because of the requirements of our new projects that we are currently developing. Good past experiences with OKUMA machines and provided maintenance services made our decision-making process very easy.
The machine is already installed, it also underwent a number of difficult tests, and has already started mass production. We are happy that our new acquisition will shorten our delivery periods and improve the competitiveness of our machining processes, which is of great importance for us to increase the added value of our castings.
