The Livaruning team trained hard throughout the winter and was well-prepared to participate in the Mali kraški Maraton (Little Karst Marathon) which was held on Sunday, March 25, 2018. This marathon is the first major recreational running event of the season which makes it interesting for many runners.
The first joint participation of 14 Livar runners in this traditional Karst marathon was marked by sunny, warm and slightly windy weather. The attractive and dynamic trail was routed through the Lipica oasis where it was possible to see the Lipizzaner horses. It was also possible to enjoy in a diverse programme along the entire trail, whilst at the finish line, all of the participants were greeted by the delicious Jota stew.
All of us runners look forward to new sporting events and socializing, as confirmed by the memorial photo.
