Description
For specific circumstances of use, Livar also offers other types of cast iron that are primarily distinguished by their toughness and preservation of properties, even at extremely low temperatures. This includes in particular cast irons in accordance with the EN-1561 and EN-1563 standards or a specific standard of the customer.
Livar produces
For the railway industry and the wind power plant and pipe fitting industry, we offer two types of other cast irons: grey cast iron with EN-GJS 400-18 LT spheroidal graphite, which has a more than 18-percent elongation and adequate toughness at low temperatures (up to -‒20°C), as well as grey cast iron with lamellar graphite alloyed by phosphor, which meets the standards for railway products.
At the customer’s request, we also manufacture vermicular and other cast irons.
